Description

The listing, LOOK!!! A 1969 BIAS WHITE Antique Hem Facing and Bias Tape has ended.

These were grandma's Bias tape Hem facing and seam binding. Now a lot of these have 25 cent stickers 53 cents I think I seen a date 30 years ago on one. I need to add in these old old panty hose never used. Someone might please be able to use them . There are about 15 + tape and hem facing and I just found a 1969 BIAS white tape. Some of the packages are yellowed from age. But Grandma will be happy for these to go to someone that would use them or keep them forever like she did. I have old old zippers she had also to list later. Hope someone gets this that will use it ...

I am wastching anad fanned you,I love to sew,am a proud Gramma,Mammam, for 8 beautiful blessings.I am sewing all for Christmas this year.Last Black Friday I had a lower leg amputated so after a great year I have learned to take over all household duties, and babysitting for grandkids after school. My husband bought me a new sewing machine and now I am in a sewing frenzi. These would eliminate some errands for him for that little stuff.I would be proud if you were my granddaughter and had such feelings for things.Great job.

I would love to sew. I do not even cut straight lines though lol !!!I I am so sorry to hear about your leg, I know you have a special husband that helps you I can tell. I loved my grandma so so much. I can honestly say I never ever said a bad or hurtful word to her. I lost my daddy, my son,and then grandma all within three months in 2010 kind of lost the will to move on. One day I said I must clean house before my time. A friend sent me a lista invitation and so far I have had a little bit of spark to my life. I have met some special people to talk with. Although my husband is not to happy with my shipping charges but I only tell him he is helping other people God bless you and yours !!!!

I came here looking at the bias tape and couldn't stop reading! I feel a bit embarrassed like I was eavesdropping.....God Bless you ALL for your losses. I've inherited my grandmother's Singer Slant-o-matic. It sat in my room for months until I had to start selling off everything in my sewing room. It was hard letting go of my sewing machine and embroidery machine. But now that I'm having to make Christmas gifts for everyone this year, I realize that my grandmother's sewing machine is TEN times better! I've even been able to purchase replacement parts for it! Everything happens for a reason, and there is a reason I was lead here tonight......Thank you ALL for bootin me off my pitty pot! I'm Thankful for wonderful people I've never met, being able to exchange items not needed for items that are needed. This may be our last Christmas in our home, but it WILL be the best! I still have over $1,000 worth of fabric, lace, bias tape, snaps, buckles, knitting needles and crochet hooks. If any of y'all need any of it, let me know, I would LOVE to share!!!!

Karen hi you are not eavesdropping my friend god sent you here to us. I love listia I have met some of the most awesome people on here, I am so emotional but have had nothing but loving comments and yours was one of them. I love homemade gifts better than the ones bought I just am not talented, My son was though he made his own upside down tomato grower lol !!! He was so proud of it, I went and bought him the real one but it was just not the same to him that was so funny. I myself am not having X-mas this year but I am going to try to help here on a few things, Where are you moving to? Your pity pot thing is funny I am on one all the time . I need booted off too. I found a lot of great people and hope to talk to you soon.

I was checking out your auction and began to read the comments. Your pain has touched my heart! I will definitely be praying for you! I too lost my father in 2010, as well as a grandchild only a couple of months prior to his passing. The grief was overwhelming. Baby Bella was delivered at only 5 months gestation and was not equipped to stay with us here on earth. I held her 1 pound body in my "hand" and told her that I loved her as she went to be with Jesus! One of the saddest days of my life. God granted my prayer to be at my father's side months later when he passed. It was as though an angel laid his hand on his chest and said, "It's time to go!" And he left peacefully. That being said, we are left to deal with the loss and grief! God knows our grief and will never leave us or forsake us. Take it one day at a time Hon! He cares for you!

Never right for us to bury our children before birth,at birth,or any time there after. In our case it was for the best. The baby was 3 wks early very small. We had no indication of any problems till my water broke,& it was stained. When the baby came it had very serious birth defects.Spine at 45' angle, toes, fingers missing among other things. The baby at our direction was kept warm and as comfortable as they could make it until it went to be with the Angels.I suffered a fractured tail bone,as well as other things,so I was not able to go to the service. The sex was never determined so we gave it our last name. That was 33 yrs ago last Jan.We now have a son that will be 33 in 2 days and 2 daughters 30 & 27.Karen i will be watching to see what you post,I am doing alot of sewing for grand kids.

Wow so sorry about all your loss,my mom, mother in law and dad all within a year, but not as close as yours. We also lost a baby after birth, but God gave us 3 more to love.As I have said since my operation there is always someone having tragedy worse then the one you are living through.Your story is just what I mean.Do you have a facebook,if so i would love to have you on mine. The socks are used to make sock monkey toys, the were popular many years ago as a way to use old work socks. The have red toe and heel and are heavy mens work socks.I want to make them for grandsons.I hope to be able to chat with you on facebook.I fanned and am watching.

Sure will Grandma lived in the depression times she passed at 98 and the things she had were unreal she never threw away anything at all even kept used stamps lol !!! I can't and would not throw away this way, it will go to someone who uses the stuff, I only wish I could sew. I would use them but unfortunately I am not that talented. I will let you know I am going to try to get out all the old zippers today .
