Hi and welcome to listia,
The bidding process is set up that a person can bid what they want to start
at the beginning , for instance they may have bid 1000 credits but it will only show high bid at 50. you bid 100 and it will show that you have been outbid. you bid 200 it will show the same..until someone tops the bid the person has made it will continue to show you are being out bid. So its just a matter of continuing to place bids until you become the high bidder.
