Description

The listing, jewelweed soap (be prepared for poison ivy season) has ended.

This is from my personal stash made extra strength from glycerin soap and freshly picked jewelweed in the Appalachian Mountains. It is used for a variety of skin ailments. Native Americans used jewelweed to prevent the spread of poison ivy, oak, sumac, stinging nettle and it is good for relieving insect bites and stings. This is two personal sized cakes, perfect for taking on a hiking trail. Dont be in the woods without it. These two bars will probebly carry you through an entire season with some to share. Great for the outdoorsman in your life or for the gardeners, landscape workers, fishermen, etc. Took me a long time to climb the ravines and collect this batch. Your getting a good deal.

I have no idea as I dont have allergies. It is good for rashes. It mostly acts like a drying agent. Its not an all over body soap, it is to be used on areas that come into contact with ivy, or on rashes and not around the eyes. Is an old cherokee remedy.
