they are usually two ply and I separate them and use just the top colored portion - they are pretty strong and I am able to slide them and rearrange them as long as glue is not the instant type.
I do not list large lots of items (i.e. 30 buttons, 20 napkins), because I find I, myself, use maybe 1-2 of an item and then I have the rest piling up around me, so I am listing smaller amounts of items, which I think is contributing to being green, if you know what I mean.
