Zimbabwe had a period of hyperinflation in which their government printed too much money. This bill was originally worth $300 USD, but most of the money they printed dropped in actual value very quickly after it was released. For instance, Zimbabwe's $100 billion banknote bought exactly 3 eggs on the day of its release. Zimbabwe's currency is no longer in use as of April 2009, but this is a definite collector's item. Besides, who wouldn't want to be an instant Trillionaire?

If so the value in U.S.D. (provided by www.xe.com) is 276,319,425,255.60
But it could be WAY off.

It is real, but it is an abandoned form of currency, so it's only value is as a collectible. This bill would not be listed on a currency exchange like xe.com as it is out of circulation, no longer printed, & no longer considered legal tender.
