Thanks and no. You just cut the strips into the shape you want (usually triangular) then apply to wet polish and finish with top coat. There's YouTube videos on it.

how big are the strips?

The last batch I had were different lengths, but somewhere around 10 inches. You only need a small amount so they should last awhile depending on how often you use them.
