Offering a beaded purse by acclaimed mid century fashion designer Josef, USA. Josef, designed purses from the 1930's thru the 1960's, and is known for his beaded bags. Many of his bags combined embroidery or jewels with the beading. Josef hand-beaded on silk ivory clutch. Has some discoloration of silk as shown in photos. This clutch is 70yrs old and the proof is in the clutch. In the clutch there is a name and address it reads
"Mrs. Albert B. Howden 2003 Winnet Street San Diego 92114 Calif. Christmas, 1946I have provided pictures of the name and address. The clutch does have some wear I also spot cleaned it and you can tell in photos which if I would have done research on the clutch before I did the spot clean I wouldn't have. Anyway that being said I think this clutch is in great condition for being 70yrs old. It comes from a smoke free pet free environment.
