Up for bids here is a very old stamp issued by the US Administration in the Philippines in 1899-- this is a 5c blue Grant surcharged PHILIPPINES. It is Scott number 216. It is in used condition with a fairly typical postmark for the time. Pretty nice shape for such an old stamp; no writing or thins on the back.

This week I am listing some very old stamps from the USA including some quite valuable ones, so DO have a look! My stepdad (who passed a few years back) accumulated stamps, and this is from his collection-- although it's more like a giant pile of messy album pages and envelopes. I don't know much about US stamps so I'll describe them as best I can.

I think people should have fun bidding on stuff-- that's what auctions are all about! So the starting bids for my stuff will always be is FIVE credits, and we go from there, no matter HOW valuable something might be. Postage is FREE to the USA, which (at current rates) is worth quite a bit, by itself!
