The listing, Instructions for Home-Made Bath Salts! Great Xmas gift! has ended.

I had much fun doing an auction for my Cinnomen Soap Recepie, I decided to do one for my famous lavender bath salts! This is an easy-to-make recepie, and, if you put them in a jar, and tie it with a ribbon, it makes a wonderful Christmas gift. People love to receive Christmas gifts that are hand-made.

I have been making bath salts, and many other items, for years, and all my recepies have been tested and used by me, so I know they're great!

Lavender is known for it's relaxing effects. Adding it to your bath is a great way to unwind. Lavender therapy!

I absolutely love the smell of lavender! But my room mate is deathly allergic to lavender as well as roses and most other flowers. Would it be possible for you to add how to make them smell to make them smell like cucumber melon as well as well as how to do lavender?

That's too bad about the allergies! Yikes! So, I just took a look at my recepie, to see if I could make it with a cucumber-melon scent, and this is what I think: the scent part of the recepie is made with lavender oil, so, you could easily replace that oil with any other oil. So it is totally replacable. You could actually do any scent you wanted.

The only problem I can think of is that you would need to have or purchase cucumber-melon scented oil, if that was the smell you wanted to add to the salts. Lavender oil, or lavender-scented oil, is easy to find, but, I'm not sure about how easy it is to get cucumber-melon scented oil. Maybe it's easy, but I don't know....

Another thing is you'd probably want to change the colour of the salts, too...you woudln't want a cucumber-melon scent, and a lavender colour. But I think that would be easy to fix - just use different colour. Or, if you want, just don't colour them at all.

Hope that answers your question! :-)
