Here is some info to help understand what is deducted when you list with a GIN..Hope this helps...
From the Listia Help Center... What are the costs associated with a Get It Now (GIN) listing?
Avatar Listia June 25, 2015 15:47 When a Get It Now listing gets created, 50 credits will be deducted from the seller's account. This fee is not refunded once the listing goes live on the site.
When the seller receives their credits, a percentage of the credits will be deducted by Listia as a transaction fee.
Seller can set the Get It Now price to anything from 2,000 to 5,000,000 credits Transaction Fee: 10% of the Get It Now value (taken from the seller) Listing Fee: 50 credits For example if a seller lists with Get It Now for 5,000 credits, they will immediately get 50 credits deducted for listing. If the item sells with the Get It Now option, the seller will receive 4,500 credits (500 credit transaction fee which is 10% of the 5,000) for their item. However, if bidding reaches above 2,500 credits before the option is used, the Get It Now option will be removed and can no longer be used.
If your listing does not end with a winner and it is automatically relisted, the listing fees will be re-applied each time.
some people are no aware that when we do a GIN that we have to pay credits up front before the auction ever starts and then if the GIN is used then we pay a portion of the credits that was used. Sometimes we do better not even using the GIN functions because those are credits that you get to keep and use.
I never knew that about the gin feature. Thanks so much for that information. so you are paying double credits for the gin function. It makes sense now.
