The listing, ****My Australian Weeds!**** 30+ seeds has ended.

My Husband is Australian, and I went there for the first time last fall. At a park near the house, there were all these pretty flowers growing and I started picking a bunch to put in a vase. My husband thought I was crazy. He says, "Babe, those are weeds" LOL True story!

Unfortunately, I couldnt smuggle any home. :(

But I DID find these plants locally this summer, and they are so close to those weeds that they have to be some hybrid of them. I'm sorry, but I cant remember the actual name. I just refer to them as my weeds! lol.
There are shades of oranges, yellows, and pinks. Sorry, but I didnt seperate by color. You get what you get. They like full sun, well drained soil, and let dry thouroughly between watering. If you dont dead-head these, they will get fluff like a dandelion and spread seeds everywhere. I tried to show the fluff in pic 4. Sorry, but you will also get some "fluff" in the bag. Having a bit of trouble seperating them. My eyes aren't what they used to be!
I will also include a few ACTUAL Australian wildflower seeds that I picked up at the airport in Sydney. Winners choice of...
1.Swan river daisy
2.Everlastings
3.Kangaroo paw

do you know if your weeds are animal safe? My dog likes to nibble on occasion so I'm looking for only non poisonous plants.

Sorry, but I do not know. I am on the phone with my in laws right now, and they dont know. They haven't heard of any problems like this, and they say that most of the animal there tend to shy away from them. Dogs, birds, etc.. BUT, this could actually be a sign that they ARE. So, to be safe I would keep them away from animals. VERY good question, and one I hope to find a positive answer to soon. Thanks!
