Description

The listing, Relist: Antique Sterling Silver 1914 Class Ring has ended.

Re-listed item and here's the original seller's item description:

"Okay this is an antique class ring heavy markings all over the ring inside, says inside STERL ____ that I cant read and also there are 2 inside symbols that I cant read either. Its face has a big M then and H on one side of the M and an S on the other, then detailed, tag says 1914 class ring. NOW there is a slight crack on the side so it does look like it would need a little TLC . It fits my pinky which would be about a size 4 or 5 made for a woman or a guy, can use as a pinky ring. ***** of an expensive pinky ring, haha but hey, why not."

*** My take on the ring: The ring has more than a slight crack! There are several places that are completely separated. I took this to a professional jeweler for a repair estimate and it was more than I wanted to pay. However, my intentions were to sell the ring for a profit. If someone wanted a keepsake or a nice historical ring than this would be a perfect addition to any collection.

EDIT: Jeweler did clean the ring somewhat and the ring is marked STERLING and this ring has three symbols instead of two.

There's no date engraved on the ring. All I have to go by is the original seller's comments and the tag from the antique shop where she purchased the ring.

I have rings about that old. They are stamped Sterling rather than. 925. Not sure if it helps value wise but its definitely old.
