Here we go with another device--but this time, let's go bigger! Here we have for your Listian pleasure a Microsoft Surface Pro 3 512 gb. It has been factory re-imaged and upgraded to Windows 10. Microsoft Office 2010 Home & Business installed and activated. Screen in clean with no blemishes--there are minor cosmetic blemishes to the back--nothing that detracts from the Surface Pro.

The Surface in itself has an audio jack, 1 USB and 1 mini port. Kickstand on the back to prop it up when needed. But you get more than that--included is a Microsoft Surface docking station with AC adapter. The docking station gives you a LAN port, 5 more USB ports, and audio jack. You just pull the arms to detach the Surface, and push them in to connect. Also included is a detachable backlit keyboard with touchpad, a Bluetooth Surface stylus pen and a Bluetooth Arc Touch Surface mouse which pops down flat for transport and pops up for use. The pen actually attaches to the docking station by the power of magnetism...

Please note: there is no power adapter for the Surface. I lost it several months ago (left it in a hotel). Using the docking station provides power. Plug the docking station in, sit the Surface in the docking station and voila--it charges.

Surface Pro 3 has been tested and works great. Docking station, stylus pen, detachable keyboard and Bluetooth Arc mouse all are tested and work great.

No GIN. Not shortening days. Will ship in the USA only. That includes Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, APO/FPO. That does not include Canada. Not shipping anywhere but the US.

Free shipping. Not sure if USPS or UPS. It will go out with tracking and insurance and signature confirmation.

Sorry, but no. Has nothing to do with cost--between Customs and what I feel is poor package handling over the border, I can't run the risk of a damaged machine. Too many headaches on computers/devices going north of the border.

Can you expand either the system or flash memory on this unit? For example, take the 512 up to 1GB, or the 8gb flash memory up to 64 with a memory card?

You can't upgrade the 512. However, You can add a micro SD card. Micro SD slot is located behind the kickstand.
