This is a 9 1/2 in. stuffed doll. I believe it used to be a famous tv character. I'm not sure what year this was made as the tag has faded..

Hushpuppy was her other favorite puppet.... I mean pet, ah, no....animal-friend, from the South, I believe. Watched her every Saturday when I was a kid.... in the '60's.

it was a very popular childrens show, Shari Lewis was the creator/ventriloquist of Lamb Chop, I believe the show started in the late 50's and then made a comeback in the early 90's. It was an awesome show, I remember watching it as a kid, remember The Song That Never Ends...lol....great piece here, nice auction!
