What is the ink expiration date?

So I looked all over the box and product and could not find an expiration date. Found a couple of codes though so I looked it up online. Looks to me that Canon does not write it's expiration dates on their products. Since I bought it no more then 6 mths ago I'd say it still has a year or two.
