I do not see any where on the glass where it is marked sterling, There is still the originial price tag on this set and they were purchased at Hammock Beach and are of the Theodora Collection. I am sure you can get additional information there.

Hmmm. that is interesting. I thought that they were sterling silver, the base of them. I will have to go look and see. Ha ha

I could not find the exact glasses, could you send me a link to the one you found, please and thank you. I would love to see them. they are priced $43.99 per glass on the tag that is on the glass, but that was a sale tag. I recieved them as a wedding gift and still have them, but not the man. lol

I suppose it could be pewter. However; they are very heavy, so I am not sure. It does look like sterling silver to me.
