FREE: Sterling Silver Ring with Unknown Stone!!

I've had this in my jewelry box for so many years now I can't remember where I got it, or what kind of stone is in it!

It has a marked Sterling Silver band, and it does have some sparkle to it, and the bottom of the band is cut out so the stone can breathe, so it can't just be a piece of glass, or could it? I don't know! I don't want to claim it to be one thing and find out that it's another, so I'm just going to list this as an unknown stone and not make any false claims! ;)

It's a beautiful ring! Sits up on the finger and has cut outs on the sides surrounding the stone and the band comes sweeping up to embrace the top of the stone.
Looking thru a magnifying glass, I see no chips of any kind in the stone.

Doesn't fit me and never did, which is why it's been sitting so long. I'm not sure what size it is, but I would guess a 6 or so.
