Very scarce error with an "inverted" Charlie Brown image.

Also shown is a regular version Charlie Brown SSK stamp. You will receive both: the error and regular version!

If you collect stamps featuring Charlie Brown, Peanuts and/or the USA "SSK" stamps (available only in larger metro area US post offices), this is a must-have for your collection!

Details: While at first glance, this appears to be an overprint error, it is not. The machine prints the barcode, serial number and word "Forever" on a pre-printed Charlie Brown label. The printer prints in the correct orientation, it is the pre-printed label that was inserted incorrectly in the machine, something can't easily happen, but, someone at this particular post office goofed.

Getting errors such as this requires many hours of traveling and hundreds of miles. One has to be at these machines practically every day, and once in a great while, you might get lucky.... So the real cost of obtaining one these stamps is far above any face value!

My GIN price below is the equivalent of what you'll pay for these on my ebay lots (based on a credit conversion rate of approx. 8,000 credits per dollar after Listia fees).

I have several of these stamps, the scan is representative of what you will receive. Once this lot is sold, it will be relisted until I no longer have any. Again: you will receive on error and one regular stamp as shown in the scan (note: each strip contains a regular stamp and a "Not Valid for postage" strip).
