This 7 inch "ice skating" frog named BLADE, is from Kathleen Kelly's Critter Factory.
She began in the 80's, creating cute lil critters out of clay. A lot of her critters turned out to be frogs and over the years, she's created several different frog characters for us to adopt.
One of them is this 'ice skatng frog' named BLADE.
This adorable lil guy is dressed in brown cord over-alls, a detailed flannel red shirt, a red and green plaid scarf w/fringe, a red & white hat and his ice skates, which are thrown over his left shoulder.
He is part of one of her Christmas critter collections and is one that is very hard to find due to it's rarity. She retired BLADE in 2005.
Whether you bid on this because you're already collecting her critters or because you just plain think he's a cutey pie doesn't really matter. What does matters, is that this 'lil guy, is one critter, you'll be glad you have.
He's from one of her Christmas critter series and considered very rare. This rarity makes him highly desired and very collectible.
I'm listing him because I don't collect these lil guys and 2nd because Christmas is coming and you may need him to help you decorate.
