Description

The listing, Heirloom Tomato Double Pack - Tigerella & Costoluto Fiorentino, 40 seeds of each. has ended.

Heirloom Tomato Double Pack - Tigerella & Costoluto Fiorentino. (40 seeds of each)

Heirloom Tomato Tigerella.

Indeterminate (cordon).

A Great English Indeterminate Variety, easily suitable for both greenhouse or outdoor production.
Tigerella has red skin with orange stripes that streak from top to bottom when fully ripe.
This is an attractive highly reliable cropper of around 2 inches in diameter of fruits, looks really good and has a nice sweet tangy taste. Its definitely a keeper so keep some seeds to grow again. They still look great before there ripe and get sweeter when left on plant a bit longer.

R.H.S. 'AGM' Award Winner.
Seeds. Homegrown. Fermented, Cleaned & Dried.
All pics are my own.

Please note this is not the american beefsteak tomato that is sometimes referred to with the names "Tigerella" & "Mr. Stripey".
Those kinds are totally different Heirlooms and look nothing like each other.
This is the genuine "UK, Tigerella English heirloom"

Heirloom Tomato Costoluto Fiorentino

Indeterminate (cordon).

Im always going to keep seeds from this type, both tasty, meaty, and visually funky looking, yum yum.

Medium-large, old-fashioned, misshapen, heavily ribbed beef tomato from Florence (Italian heirloom).
Indeterminate Variety. Shaped more slightly flattened with fluted shoulders than most other varieties.
They are as pretty as they are tasteful. I find the fruits do not contain many seeds unless you look
inside the larger fluted sections. So if your saving seeds to continue growing this heirloom,
remember checking those areas instead of just sliceing in half and giving it a quick squeeze.

Another RHS AGM award winner.

Beautiful and strong branching. If I win, could you include any advise and instructions? I was to germinate directly into the soil for strong and deep root formation like your photos. Cheers

You are not sorry at all. I can grow but asked for simple instructions. A seed packet at least has the bloody depth and sowing instructions. I am appreciative of your auction, but you don't have to be an pompous fat head.

I already bid 7,777 is someone could please relieve me of this auction. Your photos and wording in the description are soft like butter, but your heart and true character are sour like vinegar. I am not daft I know you are shipping from overseas, I don't care if it takes one month you advertised free shipping to US, you don't have to be so negative and pessimistic.

Humble yourself. Once there was a time you were a novice gardener, making mistakes, learning, growing with experience. 40 seeds are plenty to experiment and practice. Again, humble yourself. I've only asked for pointers and if you cannot offer short, simple and concise advise for your fellow beginner, you are not the expert you think you are. Good day

I Never stated i am master of garden stuff. Im far from that. You learn by mistakes, that's how you learn.
I bought a cheap heated propergater, i learnt that despite all stuff germinating, the sudden losses was due to lack of ventilation on the products lid.and stem rotted due to too much moisture. So i Learnt that extra ventilation was required and most times keep a wedge in the the lid or keep it off, for a few hours. so the humidity goes away
I CAN NOT tell you what to do.

And i wont even go down the road about using all the seeds in 1 go. Common Sense prevails. divide up and make notes, some in boiler room, some on window cill, some above a radiator.etc........... You find what works best by your own attempts. Only thing i can say.you Must do, is write down on paper about what you do! THAT is the most important thing.
