Description

The listing, Heliconia plant has ended.

Live plant. The picture shows what the bloom will look like. These are not picky plants and will grow even in poor soil. They tend to naturalize and multiply readily.I will send fresh dug up plant, not to worry it will grow easily. Blooms are long lasting and make excellent cut flowers. Please google for more information.

Hey there, Jay! (HSB) ... These are at the coolest a zone 9b plant ... I'm in zone 8b/9a and mine croaked the winter before last. Maybe I just rushed it by a year because we're sure having a 9B winter. I bought it from a nursery and gambled that it would work out. I do very little with containers after plants are ready for the ground but this will be a helaciously beautimous thing for wintering over up there in Hot Springs. ATBTY! ~ £az

I live in Florida zone. Mine are planted outside in my garden and they thrive abundantly. I just water and feed.

My checking this plant did not prove very successful. I found so many different types, but if I read about them correctly, this plant will not survive in our zone (7b) if left outside during the winter?????

I live in sunny Florida, zone 9. They thrive beautifully here. I cannot tell you about anywhere else. I got mine from a friend 3 years and now I have too many.
