The listing, 2 1950s Old MINING CAMP Mountain Resort Ouray, COLORADO postcards Switzerland of America has ended.

Offered are two (2) postcards from the 1950s showing Ouray, Colorado an old mining camp in the Rocky Mountains that became a resort town.

European travelers visiting this village in the Rocky Mountains were reminded of a Swiss village. Ouray was settled in the 1890s and named for the Ute Chief Ouray, which is detailed on the reverse of the top card.

The bottom card mentions "spectacular scenery such as Box Canyon, Bear Creek Falls, Engineer Mt. and the famous Million Dollar Highway."

They are unused (not posted). These postcards were made prior to 1959. I purchased them with a collection of Colorado postcards at that time. I have offered several previously on Listia. These are the two remaining. I hope that is responsive to your question.
