I won this Tommy Hilfiger handbag / purse on Listia, but two things...the straps were shorter than I like, and it smells stale. Perhaps one could air it out?

To make it worth your while, I have added some goodies:
1- Pantene hairspray (used twice, purchased when I forgot mine on a trip)
1-Herbal Essance hair gel- unused
1- Febreeze room deodorizer- 3/4 full
1- HP mouse with roller (used but works)
1-Contempo curling iron- used, working condition
1-CD-Hidden Waters Sacred Ground (Chant) used
1-Panasonic SHG 90 minute videocassette tape-new

Questions & Comments

Looks cute. One thing you might try for the stale odor (old smoke, maybe?) is to crumple up some newspaper and fill the purse. Change it out every evening, and in a few days, the smell is usually gone.

I am not at home to measure, so I copied the measurements from the posting from when I won it. This was her description: 10" wide across the top, 7" from top to bottom, 5" wide across the bottom, and has a 6" handle. Appears to be correct.

nice auction. you might also try adding a dryer sheet when you put the newspaper in. that should help, too!

also, what is the color, please? it appears to be red in one photo and possibly a brownish red in other...

It is more of a brick red. I think the camera flash made it look brighter. I will take another photo to try different camera setting to see if I can show the closest color.

@ edithgail- I cannot updoad anymore pics due to the time left on this auction. In looking at the pictures posted here, the color will be closest to picture #1, only a tad darker.

I think it is, but I can't be certain. Nowhere on the purse indicates either way. Has the appearance and feel though.
