Machine knit lined slippers by me in smoke free home. Used Red Heart 4 Ply Worsted Yarn in color of turqoise and beige outer & light green lining. Machine wash gentle - dry low setting.. measures 8 1/2 to 10 inches. Size is large.

Medium or Large? Women's size 8 or 9?

A chart I printed off the internet for shoe size conversion says an 8 is about 9.5 inches and a size 9 is 9.875 inches. These slippers have stretch depending on the yarn. Some a little more than others which is why I measure as is and with some stretch. Hope this helps.
