the Philippines use pesos. japan was in control of them during this time. but many countries use pesos not just mexico

and the philippines at that time has a money that looks like a us dollar bill writen in english not tagalog which is the philippine laguage and at the time when they were under and ruled but the Japanese who uses yen.
