lol...18 and 16 are not gauging and these don't come in sizes so small

actually they are when you are first starting out. And I didn't mean these particularly, I meant any type of gauge. I currently just have the size that you get when you get your ears pierced, 20 or 18, I am not sure. Which means I should go to 16.

Sorry, but piercing studs aren't even 20 gauge. They are generally 16g.

To begin moving up in gauge, you will need to know what size you have in currently. Have you by chance ever tried running a 14g through it?

ok, then you should definitely go with something in 14g, and then move up a size at a time with a couple of weeks in between.
