This ring was purchased online, so I cannot guarantee the purity of the silver, but all my other pieces I've bought from the same place have never turned colors or given me any problems. The item is stamped .925 and appears to be sterling silver.

Thanks, hun!!! Just the huge Amethyst, as A LOOSE STONE, is worth more than the gin, so that's why I set it low just in case!! I bought 2 of them and I love mine, i wear it all the time, its never turned my finger colors, etc. Nice to see you, too, hun! Check out my other listings!!!

Yes, just look at the photos. Its a raw amethyst. They actually aren't expensive, in this form. You can see all the natural striations if you zoom in. Cut glass would not have those.
