I purchased it as sterling silver and it does have the stamp. I have bought several of these for my business and have one just like this with a blue stone which I have had for more than 4 months and wear it often. It still looks good today as it did the day I purchased it. It has never turned my finger green or anything either. I have also sold several of these and never had a complain. I wash my hands with it on but take it off(as with all my rings) when I use hand sanitizer. I clean it with mild soap and a soft bristle tooth brush. I hope this info helps.
