state sz 8.5 but that is what I wear & they were too tight so I listed as sz 8, I tried to wear them numerous times but could not

I am not a smoker I have asthma & have never washed these. I'm not sure they can be washed. i bought them from a friend who only wore them a few times but they were too small for me. I tried to wear them several times as well but they were again too tight for me-otherwise I would be keeping them for sure!!
