Do you know if this allows me to adjust the framerate? On 3.25gb of ram funny things start happening to the video (eg. random speed ups/ slow downs) if recording over 15 fps.

I have one in front of me now (same model) and it doesn't seem to be compatible with Win7. Not trashing your auction, but I've plugged it in to the vcr and my pc and opened windows movie maker and nothing. There is no instruction and nothing just automatically opens. I see nothing helpful in the toolbar. I'm not technologically challenged, but ... Hope yours comes with an instruction manual. Just saying.... I'm sure there's someone out there who can figure this out, but it's not that easy.

i have win 7 on my lappy and it works ,,had to download a driver for it ...

win xp and vistia worked right away ... Must be something wrong with yours..or you have your capture device not setup in movie maker

It should work with Win 7 it detects it as a Video Capture Device with win xp and vistia.. but check there website to make sure ..

it detects from a USB port to record a video signel so you can record from any video output from VCR / DVD / Video Game output like Xbox or playstation

WiFi has noting to do with tht ,,, wifi is for internet connection
