The listing, Unique handcrafted silvertone & turquoise earrings has ended.

These are earrings I made myself out of silver jump rings, hooks and "upcycled" turquoise chips, they are possibly reconstituted or dyed howlite, I can't tell but they are very pretty and came from an Avon bracelet that broke a few years back. These earrings have a south-western or Native American type feel and the turquoise chips are rugged and imperfect in random shapes and sizes. They are about a half inch wide and hang almost 2 inches long. I hope someone will enjoy them! :)

If bids reach 1000 I will gladly swap the hooks out for .925 marked sterling silver hooks!!!

so what type of material are they made of

like I said I'm really not sure, they look a lot like real turquoise but some pieces have lighter edges leading me to believe they could be dyed howlite, which is very common in the jewelry realm, they could also be reconstituted chips. (old bits of turquoise processed into little rocks)
