To answer the questions if the people above me. Yes keithmartin14661 you can eat Key Limes. thuff there are a lot of things you must know to take care of this tree. It can only be planted outside if you live in an area like California, Florida or somewhere very warm. Otherwise it must be a container plant that is brought inside in the fall. Since it isn't in the ground you must keep it on a covered porch so direct sun doesn't scorch it. To cause it to fruit in a container, you will need to occasionally fertilize it with one that is made for citrus fruit. It will need to be kept warm so it must be indoors once the nights are getting too cool. It has to be kept in a large pot as it is a tree.
