Questions & Comments
Transformers are legends this would be perfect for my collection
As a fan since I was 2 I can tell you transformers love to collect anything that is transformers but I would love to have this for my collection. Cheer!
It is a lovely item. I just have too many other collectibles. Hulk, Spiderman, Conan, and Creature from the Black Lagoon adorn my walls, shelf, desk, window sill. lamp and stored in my closet. So far so good. You just have to beware of the lurking snipers that will jack the bid up from afar..........
my dad and mom always told me never count my chickens before they hatch but so far I'm in the lead and that's all good news for me I collect alot of items for my transformers collection from figures to hats
Roger that. Glad you don't collect chickens or eggs. I collect the Hulk, Conan, and Spiderman to relive my childhood with the things I never had or the parents could not or would not buy for me. May as well collect what makes you happy since life will always be short and no one gets to file an extension. It makes me glad knowing that someone will cherish it and be much happier having it in their possession. Too bad not all humans feel the same way. Cheers!!!
You got that right. I doubt there will be any room for new super heroes. It seems Hollywood is depending on the ones that have been around since the Golden Age of Comics. There is nothing new that has not been done before. Give it some time, Hollywood will mine for other comic book characters that have never been on the silver screen. I would like to see more Silver Surfer and Ghost Rider without Nicholas Cage. I am afraid the movie industry has gotten stale with all the teeny bopper vampire crap on television and at the movies. At least the are keeping the longevity of the vampire genre going on for a new generation to view, but watering it down in the process. Even vampires sell out completely. I expect more reboots, rehashes, remakes, re dos, or copies of what has been done in the past. It is so sad. Cheers nevertheless!!!!
I agree, but the movie companies will rarely screen a classic movie. Maybe Disney would do it every now and then. That industry will continually remake or make a franchise out of a formula that works and hope for the best with a finicky new generation of viewers. Most of the time it works if the movie is well done in every way as the original. Old school does not always work for the new school. The music industry is another story. It seems to me that young girls are keeping it barely alive. Everything and everybody sounds alike and lack originality. Gone are most of the super groups that sell out stadiums and put out music that has longevity long after the groups have disbanded and singers have faded and died. I doubt there will be any more groups as big as the Beatles, Stones, Doors, Abba, Eagles, and so on. I still got them all on cd format after going through them on 8 Track, cassettes, and the nostalgic records. Computers and other recording devices put a big hole in the greedy music companies' profits. Cheers!!!!
I see and you have very strong points I have friends on facebook and YouTube that like me enjoy the classics I'm 25 years old and the music I grew up on were Boston journey the eagles fleetwood Mac and others with bad music these days I rather listen to the eagles then today's music that is played I enjoy rock music mostly I enjoy movies that can keep me into the story
You are much younger than I presumed. I am happy that you enjoy the music of the Seventies and Eighties. I go far back as the Fifties, but don't limit myself to any particular era, genre, or category that people label music. To me if I like it then it is not noise. I like it from ABBA to Mozart to Floyd to ZZ Topp. You will notice that commercials and movies utilize a great many songs that most everyone at any age will recognize no matter what color, creed, gender, or country you are from. Sadly there will come a time when I ask the younger crowd who Elvis, The Beatles, and U2 and I will get a blank stare lacking an answer or I don't know. It will happen to Michael Jackson if the American civilization survives another two hundred and thirty four years and more. I wonder if you can compare any recent groups recording now with the timeless groups you mentioned in your reply? I doubt Lady GagGag, Justin Beiber, Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus, Britney Spears or Fifty Cent will make the grade. Seems moms and dads will finance the buyers of these forgettable singers that will be forgotten in time. Name one Hannah Montana song to hit number one in America? Have you listened to anything from Rihanna that you can tell me you enjoy? To each their own, I say.
I enjoy all types of music as long as it is good and I like it I just enjoy the best of the best the bands I named were some of my mom and dad favorite I recently told my dad that I am glad they raise me with the music of the 70s and 80s because that along with music from the past was at a time where it was about making a great song that would be apart of their legacy and make them a masterpiece I just have a different style of the way I enjoy music but to me a day without music is like a day without rain I enjoy music everyday
Music is therapy. I think I started with classical. Most kids with good taste in music got it from their parents or grandparents. Where did you get your love for Transformers? Over...........
I became of fan of transformers mostly because of my older brother he had a good collection of G1 Trsmsformers and I would watch the cartoon show on VHS then I got my first figures from G2 and that started a lifelong passion for Transformers and since I was 2 I have been collecting every thing I can that is Transformers
I am sure that you have quite a collection. Do you get any pieces from eBay? I sure hate having things in plastic or packaging that I can't open less I destroy the collectibility and sellibility factor. I do have loose pieces on a few super hero figures. I guess I am still going into my second childhood. That's cool with me as long as it keeps me happy and young in thinking if not appearance.........
I certainly get more pleasure out of the loose figures even if I don't handle them. No fun admiring them through plastic and paper. Wished they would not seal them so good in case I may need to sell them. Packaging of items are insane with all the foam, plastic, and paper that is wasted and thrown away each day. I feel quite a bit of guilt when I focus on it. Most of us humans are guilty when we consume products. Too bad that there is no big money to be made on all the litter that is dumped in landfills by the tons each day. It can't be good with all the natural disasters that leave behind so much debris. It is unfortunate that the future generations will have to figure out the solution to this throwaway world. ......
There are people in such absolute denial of truth. I call them hypocrites and we have a lot of them in Congress. Send all Decepticons to destroy this haven of enemies of the America people.......
That my friend is coming from the longest running sci fi series in the history of the world and BBC. I am going to have to give you a history lesson on Doctor Who. Google this character and it will open a new world for you. Cheers mate!!!
