Description

The listing, Bookmark Magnifier / Pocket Magnifier - CANADA has ended.

Up for consideration is a Lee Valley Bookmark Pocket Magnifier. This was so tricky to photograph. :)

With 3X magnification and measuring 7-3/8" x 2-1/2" this magnifying bookmark is ideal for books, phone books, catalogs, etc. Leave them wherever you need them - by the phone, in the glove compartment, tucked into your favourite cookbook. Makes a great small gift or stocking stuffer and comes in a protective plastic sleeve.

I am offering free shipping to your valid Canadian mailing address. Please send me your stored Listia-verified address upon winning and I will mail this out to you promptly.

Happy bidding and good luck!

P.S. I always fan back! :)

Hello regarding the shipping to the US, it will cost the same as shipping within Canada, as long as your items are 13 oz and under. A bracelet, ring etc would cost no more than a couple of dollars max. For more information go to Canada Post online. If you have a scale and are able to weigh your items that will be helpful for heavier items. You just punch in the postal code for the US address, the size of the box and weight and it will show you choices in shipping. I joined near the end of September and have learned alot. Many of the US members should be shipping to Canada as well because it is easier than they think. It would cost they the same for small items just as long as they are 13 oz and under.
Hope this helps and if you have any questions, don't hesitate. Good luck with your auctions.

Take care

Thanks! I've fanned you back. :) I don't currently ship to the U.S. as I am testing out the waters, being a new Listian and all, but I might for letter-sized items in the future. I'm just worried about the cost (Canadian shipping costs are obscene, even within Canada) and about how long it might take to arrive at its U.S. destination. Oh what the hey. Free shipping on letter-sized stuff to the U.S. I'll see if it will let me change it. That was a ridiculously long reply. My apologies. ;)

They have some of the coolest gadgets, too! It's always fun flipping through their catalogues. :)

I know,I am a woodworker and I used to read that catalogue for hours at a time. They even sell it in book stores.

Woodworking sounds like it would be such a wonderfully creative outlet. I had no idea they sold the LV catalogue in bookstores. Are they more comprehensive catalogues or are they the same ones I've been getting via free subscription in the mail? I had been getting a separate woodworking catalogue from them because my brother was developing an interest, but he did not end up taking it very far. I've pondered getting into it myself, but I'm trying to cut down on hobbies a bit lately - they're getting expensive! :D

I also list all my auctions free shipping to the US and Canada. It gets expensive if you use confirmation numbers however. As for the LV catalogue, I haven't had one in a long while, but they were very comprehensive and well illustrated in color.Back then most of it was dedicated to woodworking. Now I'm thinking it's time to order one again :)

Yeah, there's no way I can afford confirmation numbers so if someone doesn't receive a package I will refund their credits and hopefully they will understand. Canada Post is flipping frustrating. :(

So true about the frustrating part. Do you have a Venture One card for Canada post?

I don't... I'm just looking it up right now. Do I have to be a registered business? Hmm... looks interesting!

I registered just using my name, they are very accommodating and it doesn't matter if you are a business or not.And if you have a printer you can use it the same day you register. It's been good for me.

It sounds great; I'm definitely going to check it out especially if it allows you to pay for postage online and print. What a time and money saver! Thank you so much for the tip, I really appreciate it. I hope you have a wonderful weekend! :)
