I don't experience that too often, but I did search around on different forum sites, and some women say that it's mostly absorbed, and others say that it tends to sit on top.
So I didn't really find a concrete answer :( Lol
But a lot of ladies experience a lighter flow when they switch to cloth pads.

You use cloth pads the exact same way you would use store bought pads, but instead of taking it off and throwing it away, you would wash it and reuse :)
