Description

The listing, Hundreds of Marigold Seeds for You (and some Mystery Seeds, too!) has ended.

I have a huge gallon-size plastic bag full of flower seeds from MY flowers from last year. I will take a small plastic bag (as shown in picture), and put in it a "big ole pinch" of seeds from my bag for you.

The majority of seeds are marigolds, and there are all different varieties of marigolds - some are small, some are medium, some are quite tall. Some are yellow, some are orange, some are reddish-brown, and others are beautiful combinations of all these colors!

There are probably between 100 and 200 seeds in each "pinch", so I do hope you have either a lot of flowerbeds, or a lot of friends to share with. They are mostly marigolds, but you may occasionally get a zinnia, or a petunia, or a wildflower seed in there, too. (no guarantees either way on that - you may get all marigolds, or you may get other oddball seeds with marigold seeds).

This is the perfect time of year to get them started - they will bloom all summer and fall until the first frost kills them off.

Marigolds are very bright, happy, pretty flowers and very easy to grow - very hardy plants, and they don't require a lot of "work"! They don't have a particularly good odor, but it is a natual "bug repellant" - if you plant them AROUND your garden, their aroma will keep certain bugs away from your tender vegetables!

FREE shipping, U.S. only. Your package of seeds will go out the same day I receive your shipping address.

Thanks for looking, and check out my other auctions!

I think the idea of having them mixed together is awesome! :) I love it, but I believe that there should be more zinnias. Your auction is the best, and I know that I'm bidding on marigolds.

thanks - i'm just lazy, and throw all my seeds together - and when I plant in the spring, I just throw some of everything everywhere and see what comes up - I guess I have a mystery garden every year!

I don't, and I've never heard of anyone eating them, but I'm not an expert - hey, sonicmiles44 - you're the zinnia fanatic - could you answer this question for her?
thanks

I guess I should just pick one kind of flower seed at a time and separate everything, but I go around picking off all the dying blooms and dry them all together, and store them all together - in the spring, I just sow them all together and start the cycle all over again - sorry, guess I'm just getting lazier as I age!

I enjoy gardening and I believe that other people should too! Because it's fun, easy, and unforgettable!! This by far has been the best auction I've bid on so far, I must admit. Because of the almost 200 seeds!!!, and they are mystery too!!!!! :)

Well then, mystery gardens are the best. It's just that zinnias will always win and be the best. That's just the way things are. lol :) To be more precise, I have two gardens planted right now, one is the wildflower/perennial/annual patch. I love it! There are cosmos, marigolds, zinnias, columbines, blanketflower, nasturtiums, mornig glories, shasta daises, poppies, calendula, and some other wildflowers. The other one is the zinnia patch. I planted these a month ago, so they haven't bloomed. :( But I have an extra garden and there is room for your lovely marigolds/mysteries! =) And you also gave me the idea! I might collect these seeds at the end of the year and share them!!!! Good Luck! :)

I'm sure there are auctions on Listia for zinnias - go to search bar and type in "zinnia seeds" and it will probably show you several ads for zinnias - I wouldn't won't you to be disappointed with hundreds of marigolds, several petunias, morning glory, bachelor button, nasturtium, four oclock, wildflower and other seeds because there were only 2 zinnias seeds in your packet!

Interesting. You do realize I'm bidding right! I just LOVE this auction. Not really for the marigolds (I'm not saying the're bad, the're ok.), but for the zinnias!!! Yay zinnias! Nice auction! :)

odd. You do realize you're bidding on marigold seeds, right! I don't want you to be disappointed if you win - I know ........ if you win, I'll go buy you a pack of zinnia seeds and mail to you instead, and just relist this auction - lol!

basically, there's a gallon-size baggie with EVERYTHING in it all together - since the huge majority is marigold, I list them as marigold seeds but there will also be other extra bonus mystery seeds in with them - the mystery is what they are - you won't know until you plant them and watch them grow - there are zinnias in the mix, too!

you don't know that - I've already given away quite a few on Listia (maybe that's cut down on your competition - lol!) but don't worry - I put this ad on again every 3 or 4 days, so if you miss out on this one, just find the next one and start bidding again! we'll make sure you get one, too! ;)
