these are a cousin of the petunia that are native to chile.

they have branching 12-24in. stems with 2in. trumpet shaped striped flowers that come in a multitude of vibrant, velvet like, almost mettalic, colors. they are truly stunning!!!!!!

annual- blooms late spring to early fall.

full to partial sun.

requires rich, well drained soil.

growing these from seed takes extra care, do not sow directly in the ground. start indoors (while keeping them warm) about 2-3 weeks before last frost.seeds sprout in 7-10 days.

i do believe so as they are native to chile...they are more suited for warm climate but need ample watering with good drainage. hope this helps.
