Description

The listing, AMD Athlon XP 2500+ AXDA2500DKV4D, Socket A CPU has ended.

This CPU was in my main system for several years until I built an LGA775 system four years ago, This CPU went into the closet and has remained there ever since. It was top of the line until 64 bit systems hit the market. It is a Barton Core Athlon so do your research and be sure your motherboard is compatibile. Shipping is flat rate $5.00. If you want a tracking number it costs $.80 more.

I overclocked the 2500+ just to see if it would and ran it as a 3200+ for a brief period. I didn't leave it there though since it performed quite well at stock settings. But I believe I did it by raising the FSB frequency. It's been several years and my memory isn't what it used to be.
