Description

The listing, Tatting Reprinted from a 1935 Book has ended.

This book has been out of print longer than even I have been alive. 76 years. The chances of finding another copy of it are slim to none. However I have one and it was professionally reprinted in a nearby print shop. There are 16 pages of pattern and a little help getting you started if you have never done it before. Basically it is tying knots in certain ways to makie the patterns. There are 53 paatterns some are harder than others. If you like tatting I will have some more coming on later. Ask me.

Hi! Is this book for shuttle or needle tatting? (I'm interested in needle tatting.) Thanks!

From the picture in the front it appears to be needle, but there isn't much difference.

Would you consider shipping this media mail for less?

I will be more than happy to pay the shipping. My 95 year old Great Aunt taught me a little about tatting before she passed and I still have some of her work and I want to finish learning to honor her.

Tatting is out the only thing I don't do. My mom taught me to embroider, crochet and sew when I was a little girl. I taught myself to knit. I do a lot of other stuff. I put oil and brake fulid in cars, fix electric appliances and do minor carpentry. I am 74 now so I cut back a little. Glad to send you the tatting book.

I m watching the book & bidding. I m a self-taught craft person but enjoy working on an old car occasionally. the only craft that I have a problem with is crewel embroidery. my latest craft in self-taught is spinning my own wool.

Glad to hear from you. I am mostly self taught too. My mom started me and I never pass up a craft that interests me.
