**REGARDING THE SIZE**
I purchased these socks for myself. I wear a size 7.5-8 women's shoe size. The package states the socks are for sizes 4-10 but I can't see how they would fit a size 10 let alone an 8! They did fit my foot (just barely) but they were too tight around my chubby ankles- yes, I have chubby ankles! ;-) The top of the socks rest about 2" above my ankle bone which measures 11" around at that point. So before buying, please measure 2" above your ankle bone- they should be fine for ankles of 10" or less and shoe sizes 3-8. I removed the pair that I wore.
