i PURCHASED THIS ITEM FOR MY BACK DUE TO CHRONIC BACK PAIN.

HOWEVER, I USED IT ONCE AND PUT IT AWAY AND TRADED IT IN FOR NERVE BLOCKS. LOL

This is intended for minor aches and pain. It has a heat element combination massager, or you can use the massager by itself. It is made by Dr. Scholls's.

This is brand new. Batteries are new as well.

I have chronic back pain, also.... I have had 2 spinal surgeries...C5/C6 fusion and a rod and fusion L1/L2.... still lots of pain...and nerve damage.... so.. I have a question for you....what is nerve blocks? I have had injections in the spine(steroids, I believe) One set(3) of them on my lower back before I had surgery so see if they could treat it that way...but it didn't help and also physical therapy ...didn't help..in fact made things worse... I couldn't really walk by the time I had surgery....now can walk but still pain.....and my neck 2 sets(3) about 10 years after the surgery, physical therapy...and shots in the trigger points of my up back..... Nerve Blocks sounds GOOD to me... LOL So.. what are Nerve blocks?

Thank you so very much...you are so kind. If you've had steroid injections, it's the same thing. So you understand then, at times they don't work.

I came down with a virus or some infection that wiped me immune system out, setting in PIDD (Primary Immune Deficiency: The Boy In The Bubble Disease.) So it's been lying dormant up til I got the infection and it triggered it. Give myself weekly injections of plasma. Whatever the infection was it also caused severe neurological problems and paralysis, was wheelchair bound for a year. Thank God, as far as that is concerned, I only walk with a brace now but still suffer from chronic pain. Had PT, chiro care, accupuncture, water therapy, etc., etc., etc. Frustrating, huh????

yea, just bought this because i really liked the whole idea of the heat, but no relief...:(((( So I have to get regular nerve blocks, which at times do not work....UGHHHH!!!!

Yes it is very frustrating..... I am so sorry for you to have suffer from your disabilities.. I will pray for our LORD to bring you comfort and peace of mind...
What I hate are the dirty looks or people who see me parking in a disabled parking place...just because you can't see someone's disability doesn't mean they don't have one.. as you know...we kinda grin and bear it and try not to show the world how miserable we really feel...I also have neuropathy in both feet (cause from my back) and I am now having some problems with my hands.... sigh...that means probably more spinal surgery in the future..but I can't handle the thought of it now.. just had a complete removal of all of my girlie parts inside.. not fun...and then everything put back in place and fixed some other problems.... it has been 3 weeks now.. :) doing pretty good.. :)

Yea, I don't pay attention anymore to the looks, although everyone automatically assume I've got MS. :(
