You can tell from the picture that the stone is very clean of inclusions meaning it is most likely not natural. It is certainly NOT an amethyst. Quartz (which amethyst is) NEVER comes in that color of green. I would assume this is (at best) a man-made stone or even just glass. And diamonds that small are worth nothing and J color is HORRIBLE. Also, platinum plating over brass will wear off very quickly and turn your finger green. I am SHOCKED there is even "paperwork" for this ring. Why can I say such things? I have my degrees in Fine Jewelry Repair and Gemology and have worked in the industry for over 20 years.

Thanks for your opinion, I was not trying to give away something fake. I was listing the item as it was sold to me and I stated that. I'm not claiming it to be anything but what the packing slip stated on it so any one bidding on this knows just what I know. I also have worked in the jewelry field for several years that why I stated that I had never seem a amethyst in green and felt sure that the manufacture had listed it wrong or sent me something different then what was on the packing slip.

So Pretty, but are you sure this is a Amethyst. Almost all amethyst are Purple, except the green amethyst or otherwise known as Prasiolite and it's a very light Mint Green, even lighter Peridot. Still very pretty whatever it is. EV (=

I questioned myself several times and went back to the paperwork from where I purchased it from and they had it listed as amethyst, I too always think of purple as amethyst. Like you its pretty whatever the stone is.

Well i beg to differ hhall848, i do agree that is is not a green amethyst, as the seller stated she was only going by what the invoice stated. you are rude and arrougant and have no right to come on here trashing peoples auctions, just because you think you are qualified to do so. i can tell you now you will be blocked from any of my auctions and i would advise funthings to dothe same, how rude and uncalled for. some people have alot of nerve. and people do make mistakes, we are only human. some people just need to grow up and mind there own business. sorry girl i just had to give my opionon as well lol. i would block this woman and hide her comments no one has the right to just come in and trash you or your auctions.

Hhall848, has a gemenologist myself I can tell you that to be able to identify a gemstone you need to look at it in person. Yes it isn't a Green Amethyst it would be lighter. This seller is amazing and doing her best on describing as best as she can.
I wish this was shipped in Canada I understand that it is more expensive I am ready to pay for exact shipping. Low credits for gorgeous Emerald cut emerald ring perhaps grade C or simulated doesn't matter to me. Debbie trust you I trust Debbie's friends.
