Beautiful blooms all summer until first frost in the early fall.Needs full sun and water everyday.Seedlings appear 1-2 weeks.I started growing these flowers 7 years ago from 1 carnation flower head ,i dried and saved the seeds planted in the spring and now i have lots of flowers and seeds every year.You can harvest the seeds throughout the grow season,when flower is wilted just remove the whole flower head from top of stem,save/dry for seeds.These seeds were harvested 2011.Plant in the spring,usually May.
