The listing, Cannon Power Shot A75 has ended.

Look's like new inside & out. I put in new batteries couldn't get it to work. Has a nice Samsonite Case. Don't know if any of it will work, but get all you see!

sounds like it's the type of batteries. My daughter had a canon power shot and it would not work with the cheap batteries. They had to be energizer or duracell batteries. so you might try that; just a suggestion. From what we know about our Canon.
