I ordered it from Amazon just a couple montbs ago. I was using cricket for my provider. It works great however most of my texts would fail unless i was texting from home or work.

Did some research - and lam no longer confused - the Verizon S4
will work with Cricket because it was required to have a sim slot for
some FCC reason.

I'm a bit confused because the photo shows it to be a Verizon phone

* Verizon uses a CDMA network - no sim card
* Cricket uses AT&T which is a GSM network - needs a sim card

Is it carrier unlocked, or was it purchased as part of a contract plan with cricket? If bought on Amazon, you should be able to find out if it is carrier unlocked (ex.. can use with any gsm carrier) in your order history when you are logged into your account on Amazon. I would be willing to bid high if I knew that info first.
