Thanks for sharing what you thought were "the rules".
If you go back and look again under rules page you will see
"Almost everyone in our community is both a buyer and a seller, so consider these helpful guidelines". And it is a great guide line to follow.
Why would I choose to limit it to 5 days instead of 7? Actually I thought I made that clear right in the beginning of the post.
My considerations in my posting were these - With this being Christmas shopping time, and a dead line for an auction, mailing time required and many NO follow throughs I think timeing is important for my fellow Listeners. . The NO follow throughs delay others having a chance to win a relist auction, recieve it in the mail and get out to use it if they choose for a christmas presant.
Normally I give 10 days and have even held things as long as a month. And always have a shelf of things where winners never respond or keep making excuses and never follow through.
Again in this case this is Christmas. And I think other considerations are approperate.
I hope the winner who is on to win it will also take 3 minutes for it to switch over where they can simply click their address for free shipping and be done with it.I would hope it doesn't take them 7 days to click that button.
If your thinking of bidding please understand the requirements that I have clearly stated and now explained. And feel assured that if you win it I WILL do everything I can to get it out to you right away so you can use it quickly.
