70 year old silk/satin souvenir pillow cover from the army post in Camp Rucker, AL Most souvenir pillow covers were sent home to sweethearts; but this deep purple one was for sister:

"SISTER Of all the girls I ever knew
There never was one like you
You're the nearest, you're the dearest
pal I ever knew"

Condition of the Camp Rucker pillow cover- the yellow-gold decoration on the front of the case has areas that have rubbed off and diminished. The rope fringe has one tassel that has unraveled in the lower left corner.
