Description

The listing, Vintage 1972 Topps Willie Mays (In Action) (Giants) has ended.

Here up for bids is a vintage 1972 Topps #50 Willie Mays (In Action) Card in poor-fair condition. the top of the card has some type of curling to it that looks like it may be from moisture. Please enlarge the photos to see the exact condition of card. I tried to take as clear pictures as possible. There will be no GIN nor adjustment of days on this auction. Thank you for watching and good luck to all those bidding.

even the worst mays card is still a good card.

Oh wow !! Thank you. It was a lucky find for me a few years ago but now I have to find something in better grade and I felt it would let it go to someone who would like it. Good luck to you.

Unfortunately because I knew that he was one of the better players I wanted the time for more people to be able to view it and have the chance for it, with short auctions a lot of people don't get to see the auction and that's bad on both ends. It gets greater later, trust me ;)

yea i do the same thing. i listed a 1979 dr.j for 15 days. ended up going for 49,000 credits. so certainly understand. i may be back to bid. i'm eyeing a 1960 mays on ebay.

Just because of the fact that you made mention of the fact that it is short I will compensate everyone at this time for the wait. It's about to get greater RIGHT NOW !! I hope you like it.

To be fair, I have had one of his autograph cards come to me very very late (like 3 months later) and from the postage stamp on there I can tell it was totally the Post Office fault on there. He's always been very fair to me and a great seller with autographed cards as well.

you wouldn't happen to have a benito santiago rookie would you?

No I wouldn't, this one of the very few older cards I have, I decided to get rid of all the older ones first and this is the oldest one I have right now that I know of. I don't have many from the 60's mostly 80's and up.

santiago's rookie is from 1986. i have seen some of his auto cards and compared to one's on ebay and they were a little suspect to me. but just my opinion.

I may have some early cards of his but I am not sure about his rookie off hand, but I will look for you in the morning for sure. All I can say is that he sent me a replacement autographed card with the COA and when the first one came months later with another COA it was the exact same signature. I can't dispute what you may have received though. I'm not here to do that at all. I can understand about having suspicions when I have been scammed on here myself by previous users who are no longer on the site. But I've been dealing with the guy above for about 3 years now, he's pretty cool and easy going to be honest.
