Everybody knows Maddux, and who could forget? With over 350 wins and multiple Cy Young Awards, Maddux was an easy choice for the Hall of Fame.
Not as many remember McDowell, but he had his own short period of dominance in the early 1990s, finishing 2nd for the Cy Young Award in 1992 before winning the Cy in 1993 with a 22 win season for the Chicago White Sox.
