Questions & Comments
How would you fill this w/ ashes? I'm assuming that you'd need a cylinder to pour them into the container?
I bought a small funnel which you can find at any craft store. I sterilized it and I used a small plastic spoon to scoop ashes into the funel then used a tooth pick to make sure all the ashes got into the locket. After I filled it I put a small amount of adhesive on the cap and screwed it in place to make sure that it seals tightly....
That's the word! Funnel, not cylinder. Lol. I was on the right track, but w/ chemo brain, it's like the word is there & you know yah know it & any other day it'd come right out, but when yah want it to, all of a sudden it's not there. Grr!! Lol Well, that's what I thought. Thank you so much for clarifying for me ♡ It'd be nice to put some of my father's in.
I bought a bunch when my mom died, in different styles, for all her children and grandchildren, they are very nice and everyone loves having a piece of her with them wherever they go...
That's so sweet. Do you have any others left beside the blue? & if you don't mind my asking, where did you find them? I've never seen anything like this.
My step dad was looking at ones through the funeral home and they wanted hundreds of dollars for there's so I researched them online and there are a lot of different places you just type in memorial locket and there are many different styles. Unfortunetly this is all I have at the moment.....
